"Dear Darrell & Mary:

I was in LA about 3 weeks ago. However it was only for 2 hrs between flights. I called but no one was at home. I have been flying all over the country for dear Boeing and am hoping it will stop soon. I was not cut out to be a traveling salesman. I am working in Numerical Control and there is a lot of talk that it will soon become a separate division of Boeing. We are enjoying life and are convinced that we could never leave Kansas. We built a new house (about like yours) a year ago, so we are now relaxing and getting fat.
