Lemoin
was born in Kanona Ks 1910. Lemoin and his sister Lucile were in the same class
in school graduating from high school in the class of 1930 along with cousin
Helen Johnson.
Lemoin’s
father Wayne operated a Coop Grain Elevator in Hildreth NB before moving back
to Kanona. Lemoin helped farm and at the Elevator while going to Grade School
in Kanona.
Lemoin
& Lucile went to High School in Oberlin where Lemoin wrestled on the DCHS
Wrestling team, _________ lb class.
After
graduation Lemoin attended one year at Colorado School of Mines in Bolder Co
before accepting a job with Foster Lumber Co. He was later sent to Marland
Oklahoma where he was manager.
During
WWII he was a gunnery instructor, stationed in TX. In 19__ he married Fay Walker and in 1949 their son Vincent was
born. Fay died in 1952.
After
released from service Lemoin returned to work for Foster Lumber at Oberlin
& Dodge City Ks before Foster decided to discontinue operations.
Patty
(Pierce) Kuhn lost her husband in 19__ and in 19__ she and Lemoin were married.
In 1960 Greg joined their joint family of 4 to make it a family of 5.
